Angus is a 5-month-old, 38 lb puppy who is still growing into his big boy bodyand big floppy earsa bit. Angus was found as a stray in Edgefield, South Carolina but is ready to make his forever home whenever you are. Angus has the perfect signature German Shepherd appearance. Hes so handsome and he knows it. Hes still learning to use his extra big feet when he runs and will be a large dog once fully grown. Angus is such a sweetheart and adores others. He loves playing with other dogs, being a sweet and goofy boy with his puppy antics. He loves children and would be great in a home with kiddos as their companion as he grows up with them. Angus is sure to be an amazing family pet, and he cant wait to find his forever home soon. We encourage applicants to only apply if you have German Shepherd experience, as this breed can be high energy and does best with structure. Angus is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and microchipped. Angus has not yet been neutered. On a predetermined date within 6 months of adoption, the dog will be neutered at the expense of HFGDR when the dog is between 10-12 months of age. An additional check in the amount of $500 will be collected at the time of adoption and $400 will be returned to the adopter once the dog has been altered. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own.
