My Story
Apple! Who is ALLL smiles, and all butt wiggles, she is positively one of the happiest-go-lucky pups I've ever met! At about 3 months old, and about 4 pounds, the smallest of her litter, and the most docile. We don't think she will be getting too big anytime soon! But even if she was huge, she is a genuine lap-lover- and HUGE kisser. Apple is quite smart, as well! She's easily picked up on all the tricks of being the perfect house puppy! Especially when it comes to cuddling up close with the kids! Not to mention her adorable big brown eyes! Who could ever tell this girl no? I know I can't, especially as she comes walking over, bearing the biggest, most adorable grin. We know she will prosper in just about any home due to her amazing personality, and sweetness.
After a long fight of Parvo and Pneumonia, against ALL odds, Apple has prevailed; and even gained a pound since then! We could NOT be any more proud of this sweet girl's fighting spirit, and we hope her next family will give her the love she fought SO hard for!
Apple's mom was a small wirehaired terrier mix, and we aren't sure on dad, but we believe he was a cattle dog, none the less!
I can be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement! The refundable deposit of $100 is INCLUDED in my $410 adoption fee! This fee covers my spay/neuter surgery (at the Monticello Vet Clinic, not covered elsewhere), my vaccines: Bordetella, DA2PP, Rabies! & my heartworm test + preventatives! The $100 deposit is returned once proof of my sterilization is sent to AWF!

Please Note: All adoptions are on a first-come first served basis with approved adoption applicants. We do not hold animals unless the adoption is out-of-state, and fees apply. The animal's welfare is our first and only priority, in doing so, they are moved from the shelter into their respective homes as quickly, & humanely as possible to remove the risk of undergoing extreme stress, immune system compromission, & behavioral concerns.
