Hi there! I'm Apple, a shy but sweet dog looking for a fresh start. Let me tell you my story: I was born on July 21, 2021, in Korea, where I was rescued from the Korean Meat Market. I’ve had no trouble getting along with other dogs back there, and though I haven’t met cats yet, I’m open to learning about them. Since arriving in America, life’s been a bit overwhelming. I’ve been feeling timid and unsure, especially around children, so I think I’d do best in an adult-only home where I can build trust at my own pace. I’ll admit, being alone makes me nervous, and I’ve chewed on furniture and doors to cope. But with patient guidance, I’m confident I can learn better ways to manage my anxiety. I’m ready to find a forever family who will be patient, loving, and willing to help me feel safe and confident. Are you the one who can give me a second chance? Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs.
