Meet Apricot, a delicate little ray of sunshine wrapped up in yellow fur! This 1-year-old, 45-pound Labrador Retriever may start off a little shy, but she’s proof that good things come to those who snack. With a well-placed treat, Apricot will go from cautious to cuddly in no time, blossoming like the sweet fruit she’s named after. When Apricot came into rescue, she was carrying some extra baggage—both physical and emotional—but her journey toward trust and confidence has been nothing short of inspiring. With a patient and loving family, she’ll continue to bloom into the loyal, affectionate companion you’ve been searching for. TLC is her love language, and she’ll reward you tenfold with her heartwarming progress. Apricot is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. While her 4DX test came back negative for heartworm, she did test positive for a tick-borne disease. No worries, though—she’s currently on medication and is feeling better every day. This sweet girl is ready for her forever family to guide her on her journey toward becoming the confident and loving dog she’s destined to be.
