Archie is an over exuberant, high energy doodle. This guy is about 1 1/2 years and has been used for breeding, not having been socialized too much with the outside world. While he world may have been limited, he does love people! Archie is considered a "mini doodle" and just weighs 15 lbs.
An overall good boy, Archie needs a lot of training when it comes to jumping, walking on leash and learning to "dog". This guy is pretty vocal and likes to express himself! He seems reactive to other dogs while on leash, but he is really just excited.
Older dogs will likely be super annoyed with this outgoing fella. Archie will be ok with a high energy, playful dog in a new home. We are unsure about cats but suspect he will be too much.
Archie will not be a good fit for apartment living as he is a barker (again, all in excitement). This boy is eager to learn and will benefit from lessons.
Sure he has some quirks, but Archie loves his humans!

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at

Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, Saturdays, and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing
[email protected] and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.
Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
