My Story

Aries Toy Poodle White/Cream 12 months old Approximately 9 lbs Adoption fee $550 Vaccinated, heart worm negative and on preventative, micro-chipped, neutered. Aries is a well-behaved and happy little guy who knows some simple commands and loves to cuddle! So far, no potty training has been needed although he does get frequent trips outside. He has not had any inside accidents during his time with his foster. Aries loves people and other animals. He can be a bit overenthusiastic when wanting to meet someone but due to his small size, it is not overwhelming. His foster is working on his socialization and manners as he is still young and willing to learn. Aries does need to go on walks as he has a lot of energy due to his age. He also likes to zip around in the fenced back yard and could easily be named Zoomer, Rocket or Bounder! He is crate-trained and sleeps through the night in his crate with some toys and a bully stick. He loves his home and can be protective of it by barking when someone comes to the door, although he is able to calm down. He wants nothing more than to be with his human. ** Please note: Due to their size, our dogs are not suitable for homes with children under 5. We do not have a facility; all dogs are fostered in the homes of our volunteers. Lil Paws is a very small organization, our volunteer time is reserved for interested persons who have filled out the application to adopt. If you are interested in adopting a dog from Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and other Petite Paws, please visit our website at http://www.lilpaws.org and fill out an adoption application. This is the first step in our adoption process. Our goal is to place our dogs in safe, stable and loving homes in the Austin area. Thanks for looking! Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and other Petite Paws depends on donations to keep the dogs in our program healthy. Many health issues are taken care of before a dog leaves a rescue: spaying, neutering, immunizations, dental care, and in some cases major surgery. Because of the cost of this care, donations are essential to enable us to continue our work. If you would like to show appreciation for what we do and help us continue to do it, please go to our website homepage and click the donate button. We thank you in advance for your support
