My Story

Name: Arris Age: Puppy / DOB: 5/29/24 Gender: female Breed: Collie/Terrier mix Weight: 46 lbs Dog friendly: yes Cat friendly: Testing available upon request Child friendly: yes House trained: yes, puppy on a schedule Crate trained: yes Energy level: Moderate Temperament: devoted, mellow, easygoing, tender-spirited, observant Requirement: Not apartment appropriate but could be in a condo or duplex Adoption Fee: $500+tax To adopt, go to: www.mendingspirits.org/apply-to-adopt.html From the Foster Family: Arris (Ari) recently came to MN from a shelter down in Alabama. She was found with her siblings and mom by a good samaritan who then brought them to the shelter. Arris was very shy and timid when she first came to my home. She just wanted to sit by me and take everything in at a distance. Now she is starting to gain confidence and explore the house more. She watches or runs alongside the other dogs while they play. Her favorite activity is to lay on my lap and be as close to me as possible. She is the ultimate snuggler. She doesn't love her kennel but will go in it when I'm gone. Arris would be a wonderful dog for anyone who is looking for a loyal companion. About Me: Hey there! My name is Arris, and I'm new here! Sometimes new things and people make me nervous until I can take the time to get to know them. My foster-dog-siblings are constantly playing, but I would much rather sit on my human's lap and watch. I show my human I love her by placing my head as closer to hers as possible and staring into her eyes. I'm looking for humans of my very own. Please apply!
