With his youthful energy and playful spirit, Ashby is ready to find a family who can guide him through the next exciting chapters of his life. While he’s still growing and learning, his heart is as big as his paws, and he’s eager to show you just how sweet and loyal he can be. As a stray, Ashby’s past is a mystery, so it’s unclear if he’s ever lived in a home before. He’ll need a patient family who understands that he’s still learning what it means to be a cherished companion. He’s full of puppy energy, so lots of positive reinforcement and structured training will help him flourish into the wonderful adult dog he’s meant to be. While he may need some guidance in terms of house rules and manners, his intelligence and eagerness to please make him a fast learner. Ashby has donewell with the dogs he’s met, and he would thrive in a home with another dog to help show him the ropes and he’d love to have a canine buddy to share adventures with. However, he’ll need a family that can match his active lifestyle and help him expend that boundless puppy energy in healthy and fun ways. Ashby has been neutered, microchipped and Heartworm tested. We have updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention.
