My Story

Everyone meet handsome....Asher!! Asher was living in the shelter for over a year and developed pretty severe kennel stress. Since being broken out of the shelter and in rescue, he has learned calmness, love, and safety. He has completed a four week board and train and is now in boarding/foster with a dog trainer in Connecticut. I mean, how much better does it get?! We are looking for potential adopters anywhere in the New England area. Asher is about three years old, 45 pounds, walks well on leash, is fully crate and house trained, and loves to train and please his people. He would do best in a low traffic household that will exercise his needs and give him the structure that he thrives off of. He loves to work for his food and is a hard worker in general. He is currently living with two other dogs and has learned to co-exist well with them with a lot of structure. He could potentially be placed in another dog household dependent on the other dog and experience of the adopter, however we are pushing for a solo pet household. We are saying no to feline friends for now as he has not been exposed to cats thus far. Asher deserves his people, and we will find them for him! Asher's adoption comes with multiple meet and greets, a go home session, a lifetime of FREE training, and an entire team of trainers. I mean, come on! If you believe Asher could be the one for you, please reach out. He is as sweet as he looks and would love nothing more than to meet you. Let’s beat the odds and get this boy adopted, as we all know black dogs tend to be homeless the longest!
