ARRIVING IN WI February 28th!
Ashley is an adorable 11 week old female mixed breed dog. She currently weighs about 7 pounds and has a beautiful black coat.
Ashley and her three littermates were found alone on the side of a rural road by one of our rescuers. Worried that they were abandoned and would get hit by a car, she took the puppies home with her. The rescuer went back to the same area a few days later to make sure there weren't any other puppies in the area, and discovered a nearby home had two dogs behind a fence that had recently had puppies. The homeowners said that the dogs had been left behind by the tenants and they weren't aware of the litter and did not want them back. A photo of the parents are included.
Ashley enjoys people of all ages, especially kids, and gets along well with other dogs of all ages and sizes at her foster home. Her foster says she is the most loving puppy ever, she loves just sitting on your lap and giving kisses. She is very loyal, smart and very observant. Her fur is short but thick.
She has started her potty training in Texas, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI.
She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition.
She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, February 28th, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below.
Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should she not be a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
