This pretty little dog is Aspen from the Abingdon shelter in Virginia! And she brings a lot of joy and gratitude that she was able to get out alive!
Aspen loves other dogs, both large and small, and she will freely engage with anyone who will play with her. She's also been fostered in a home with a cat and she did well with the cat.
So she is a very versatile, sweet potential family member who has so much to offer. She is (mostly) housebroken and crate trained and sports a lovely disposition!
Because Aspen is still so much a puppy, she will live her best life with a fenced in yard where she can run and play to her heart's content! Her foster mom says she is like lightning when she does laps and would love an active family who can keep up with her! Another important note: She's very smart and quick to learn. And even though she loves the outdoors, her foster in NC said Aspen would just curl up at her feet in the house and stay close to her all day. She said she takes treats very gently--just a super sweet girl!
Fully vaccinated, Aspen was spayed and microchipped on September 18th. At only one year old, she is a good size, weighing 37 pounds. We're still terpondering her breed but our best guess is a feist/terrier mix with perhaps a little greyhound blend--but she so wants to be a lab--and she certainly has the good lab traits!
