Very loving playful puppy. She gets along with both of my other dogs. LOVES peanut butter. She's in her kennel overnight and does very well, no whining. Likes to chew on shoes and socks like puppies do, but when you tell her no, she drops them. Whines when she needs to go out and potty. We have tried walking her on a leash and harness and she did very well. She loves to cuddle. She played with a neighbor dog and loved it.
As of 8/2/24, she has doubled in size or more. She is 20lbs now, I figure whe will be around 30 lbs fully, but I could be wrong.
She's got the markings of a Jack Russel Terrier, but mostly the body of a Boxer. We have noticed she has webbed feet. Trying to see how she will swim, more on that when we get her into the water.
She does well on being gated off with our 2 other dogs so she doesn't get into everything like a puppy does.
She does have a bladder issue (etopic ureter) right now and will be getting surgery Sept/Oct. Be good as new in no time. If she's adopted before surgery, surgery will be scheduled and taken care of. She will have to wear diapers (we have washable ones that will go with her) while in the house until then because she leaks :(
Whoever adopts this puppy will be getting a sweetheart of a dog :)
As of 9/11/24 Aspen is coming off hold, but will still need surgery. There has been confusion on which surgery the vet wants to do, was supposed to happen 9/12/24, but now is going to be Sept/Oct.
She's still a very playful and loving puppy. Learning every day. Loves to play in the back yard with our other 2 dogs (75lb pitty and 18lb terrier mix). She's got long legs and gets the zoomies when you take her out before bed. She doesn't quite know how to play with her toys yet...because she lays on her back and plays with them.
She is a people dog, she wants to be by someone, she loves to cuddle and will give hugs.
