Hi, I'm Athena! I'm a sweet, one-year-old girl who's still learning about the world and figuring out my place in it. I came to the shelter through a cruelty case, so I’ve had a bit of a rough start, but I’m so grateful for the people who’ve helped me heal and find my way to a happier, safer life. I can be a little nervous around new people, but once I get to know you, I’m all about the love and affection! I love cuddling and getting attention from my favorite humans, and I’ll be your loyal companion through it all. I have a history of chronic rhinitis, which means my nose sometimes gets a bit stuffy. I may need some treatment in the future to keep it in check, but don’t worry – it’s something that can be managed. Despite that, I’m still full of energy and ready to explore life with my new family.
