My Story

Meet Aurora (Rory for short)! She is 3 years old and around 55lbs. She is good with kids and other dogs, but needs a cat free home. From her foster: “I think Aurora would thrive best in a home with at least one other dog her size as her and my medium sized dog became fast friends. She has not had any issues with being territorial. However, if you’re giving another animal love, expect for her to think that’s an invitation for her to also get snuggles in that exact moment. She’s a big love bug who just wants to snuggle up with anyone that’s willing and play with her dog friends. I think she’d thrive best in a home with a yard as she tends to get bored, but ultimately I’ve not had a problem with her adjusting into my home. She is house broken but she is not crate trained. However, I leave her out and she is very respectful of the environment. She is good with kids and other dogs that are medium-large breeds.” Aurora is with a foster in Lacey.
