My Story

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/14126 Name - Autumn Age - 15 weeks Terrier Mixed breed Weight - 10 pounds Spayed Estimated adult weight - 35-40 pounds I love to play with my puppy siblings. We chase balls and play tug-of-war. Then I take a long nap. I am still learning puppy manners and potty training so please be patient with me. I am learning how to be crate trained as well. I also enjoy when my foster picks me up and snuggles me, I give face kisses. I am learning appropriate play with my foster family's two children. I'm searching for - A forever home with someone who won't leave me home alone for more than 4 hours, at least not until I am older. The older I am, the more I can stay home alone. I just don't want you to get mad at me if I have accidents or chew things I'm not supposed to when you leave me for too long. I'm a puppy, so I get bored quickly and when I'm bored I could get in trouble. This puppy is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines and monthly preventatives. To adopt fill out the simple online application at https://ophrescue.org Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. (OPH) rescues dogs and cats of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters in NC, VA, MD, and SC, reducing the numbers being euthanized. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50-90% of the animals that come in the front door. OPH provides pet adoption services to families located in VA, DC, MD, PA and neighboring states. OPH is a 501(c)(3) organization and is 100% donor funded. OPH does not operate a shelter or have a physical location. We rely on foster families who open their homes to give love and attention to each pet before finding a forever home. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
