Meet Axel! Axel is about 9 years old, currently 22 lbs (could stand to lose a few!), and he may have some Chihuahua in his mix! He was surrendered when his people lost their housing. In his foster home, he has mastered his house-training, crate-training and leash-walking (though he does bark). He could go to a home with other calm dogs (he does not like to play), and/or kids 5+. Cats are unknown.
His foster says, "Axel is relaxed and lazy and loves to cuddle. He is very friendly, but unsure at first with new people. Once he sniffs you and he realizes you aren’t the bogey man, he will want to be your best friend. Good with kids of ages. Prefers to nap all day. Known to snore."
