- Loves people and companionship - Prefers to explore and do their own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once they're in a home environment and have had time to decompress - Smart girl, knows sit and down - Tends to be an introvert around other dogs and may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends; may not be comfortable at dog parks or at large, dog-friendly events (dog intro recommended) - Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended) - All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age - The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
