My Story

Bailey is a 1 year old Black Mountain Cur mix. She is spayed and up to date on preventatives. Bailey lived inside with 4 cats at her prior home. She is great with cats! She is wonderful with kids as well they said. They said she got really excited when she got to hang out with children. She got along with almost every dog she met, but will need a slow introduction to make it all work. We have had her interact with multiple dogs at the shelter and her tail is always wagging and she loves making new friends. Bailey loves people. She loves getting one-on-one time with a volunteer and a long walk on a beautiful fall day. She is a big fan of milk bones, too. She will need a home without chickens, or the chickens will need to be in a separate enclosed area. We have had multiple dogs come our way that struggled with chickens at their home and there is training that can be done for this!! We have had several adopters that researched it and worked with the dog and overcame this!! Bailey will thrive as an inside dog living with her family. Can meet this beautiful girl at the Waverly Animal Shelter.
