Bailey

Meet Bailey, a 6-year-old medium-build standard poodle weighing approximately 45 lbs. His life has been a bit of a challenge up until this point as he was recently rescued from a puppy mill. He is adjusting to his freedom, but he is looking for a patient, understanding home where he can feel safe again. We have learned that Bailey loves the outside world. His favorite thing to do is go for walks, regardless of the temperature he is ready to go. He can be very excited on the leash and would benefit from some training. He would do well in a house with a dog to help show him the ropes. He is friendly with dogs, cats, and children. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for him to run and play as he does like to be outside. Bailey needs an owner who understands that he has been through a lot and is willing to put in time to help him thrive. He does use his crate as a safe space, but ventures out curiously too. With time, Bailey will open up and show his playful side, enjoying the companionship and care he deserves. Bailey is fully vetted and ready to find his people.
