About Me
Characteristics
Affectionate, Friendly, Gentle, Loyal, Loves, Playful, Quiet, Smart, Cat Friendly, Great With Kids
Bailey and her puppies were found under someone's house in a rural town we help. The puppies were 4 weeks old when we brought them and Bailey to a foster home. Her back left leg was badly injured, likely from being hit by a car. Her leg was beyond repair and had to be amputated. That was in November, and she has come a long way since then. Despite her condition, she has been such a good girl and has completely healed. Now, she just needs someone who will love her just the way she is.
Bailey is being fostered with other dogs and a cat. She tries to lick the cats and wags her tail. She has never shown any aggression. She is great with the kids and is very gentle. She has a calm personality. She is already house trained and leash trained. She gets around and walks fine.
We think Bailey is a Hound and/or Husky mix. She weighs 40 pounds, and she is 2 years old.
Bailey has been spayed, vaccinated for DHPP, Rabies and bordetella. She is microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
She can arrive in New York on March 15. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt
