Despite his size, Bam Bam fancies himself a lapdog, and if it were up to him, he’d be your personal snuggle buddy all day, every day.
Bam Bam's zest for life is as large as his heart. He's a dog with an appetite for adventure, whether it’s exploring the great outdoors on a lengthy walk or mastering the art of toy destruction. However, he's not just all play; Bam Bam thrives on love and affection, practically melting into a puddle of happiness with every pet and cuddle he receives.
Living harmoniously with a 15lb Chihuahua, Bam Bam proves that size doesn’t matter when it comes to friendship. He's a social butterfly at the dog park, though his excitement can sometimes get the best of him. He plays well with others, but a stern look from another dog can sometimes spark a reaction. Despite this, he's had many successful playdates, showcasing his ability to socialize and have fun for hours on end.
Bam Bam's household is a bustling hub of activity with children aged 7 and 12, along with a variety of family members spanning from young to old. He's shown nothing but love and gentleness to everyone, truly a testament to his wonderful nature.
Energy-wise, Bam Bam is still as spirited as ever, though he's mellowed slightly with age. The recent loss of his beloved owner has placed him in a situation where his current family, though loving, struggles to meet his need for constant attention and activity. A home with a backyard for him to zoom around in or someone dedicated to keeping him active with daily adventures would be ideal.
While Bam Bam is no Houdini when left alone, he does have a crate for those times when the housekeeper visits, ensuring he doesn’t turn her cleaning routine into a game of tag. He knows his basic commands—sit, lay, stay—and is an eager student, especially when treats are involved, making further training a fun opportunity for bonding.
