My Story

Bam Bam is a female black and white Border Collie/Poodle mix who is around 4 months old. She came to the shelter because her family could not keep her. She is not house-trained at this time but is working on it while she waits for a new home. She does with with other dogs, and was around children in her former home. We do not know how she is with cats at this time. If interested in meeting her, call 419-294-4477 Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm to schedule a appointment. WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required) The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.) Step 2— Pick up your new pet! Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.) *Return Policy: If an adopter cannot keep an adopted pet for any reason, the animal must be returned to WCHS. Because of our strict return policy, adoptions to homes more than 100 miles away will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
