My Story

Just like our Eagles, Bambi’s story is one of resilience and potential. This young Husky mix, estimated to be around a year and a half, came to us as a stray with a past that’s a mystery. But one thing’s for sure — this sweet boy is ready to find a home where he can soar. Bambi’s a little on the skinny side, weighing in at just 34 pounds, but with some love and a little help, he’s sure to pack on the pounds and gain the confidence he deserves. He might remind you of a baby deer — scared and unsure — but with patience, he’ll become a mighty companion. While he’s still adjusting to life at the shelter, he lights up when it’s time to run in the play yard. He’s got energy to burn and loves treats to motivate him along the way! Though Bambi hasn’t quite mastered the art of fetch (yet!), he’s all about chasing after the ball and enjoying the chase. He hasn’t met other dogs yet, but his curiosity is piqued, and he’s eager to make some furry friends once he feels comfortable. Bambi will need an adopter who’s patient, understanding, and ready to help him build confidence, especially with leash training. If you’re looking for a lovable, potential-filled pup who just needs the right team to help him reach his full potential, Bambi might be the perfect match for you! Bambi’s already neutered, and we’ll make sure he’s microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to join your family. Come see him at our Conshohocken location at 19 East Ridge Pike, or fill out an adoption application on our website. Let's help this future Eagles fan find his forever home and score a touchdown of love!
