FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Banjo! He is a sweet, spunky 2-3-year-old, 11 lb, Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix who is in search of a forever home. Banjo is the perfect balance of snuggly and independent, often seeking out some cozy time with his humans but also content to entertain himself. Banjo is a happy guy, full of love and tail wags to share with anyone who crosses his path. Although Banjo recently lost one of his eyes due to an injury recently, it doesn’t hold him back from enjoying life. He’s still his playful, friendly self and gets along well with all dogs he meets. He’s a little sensitive on the side of his lost eye, so he’d do best in a home without small children who might startle him with sudden movements. Banjo is mostly housebroken and walks perfectly on a leash. He’s not a destructive dog—he’d much rather be indoors, curled up in a favorite spot, than out in the yard.
