Banzai

**Banzai is fostered in Portland, OR, but his foster can drive him part-way to meet you near your home. FaceTime meet and greet available.** Banzai and his siblings were found in a rural town near an abandoned home in South Texas. We’ve been trying to rescue all of the dogs there for a few months. One of our amazing fosters brought them to her home as soon as she could so we could save them. Banzai and his brother Simba are still looking for their forever families. Banzai is very affectionate and loves to play with toys and dogs. He has done great with the small, medium and large dogs in his foster home. He is being fostered with cats too, so he’ll be comfortable in a home with a cat (once they both get to know each other). Banzai is potty pad trained and now learning to go potty outside (which includes walking down a hall, taking an elevator, and going outside). Prior to coming to the PNW, Banzai was crated at night with a sibling. He is now learning how to sleep in a crate on his own. He is also learning how to be in a crate during the day. Banzai is great on a leash and wears winter coats and hoodie/sweaters to keep warm in the PNW winter weather. He is treat motivated and is learning to sit on command. Banzai is 14 weeks old, and he weighs 18.8 pounds. His mom is an Australian Shepherd mix and she weighs 35 pounds full grown. Banzai has been neutered , vaccinated for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention. He is also heartworm negative.
