Hello, friends! My name is Barkley, and I'm one handsome pup. I'm a 7-month-old Pit Bull Terrier Mix who currently weighs 26.5 pounds. I'm making progress with housetraining, and only have an occasional accident. I do well when on a routine. My great qualities include: I do well in my crate, I like playing in the house or yard with other dogs, and I'm good with kids. My hobbies include playing with toys, chewing on bones, and going for walks and car rides. Although I'm kind of shy at first, I quickly warm up. I was under-socialized when I arrived at Wish Bone, and I've already warmed up to three dogs! My foster mom is proud of me because I did well meeting people at an adoption event. When motivated with a treat, I willingly enter my crate and sleep through the night. I can be in my crate 8-9 hours. My foster mom said, "Barkley is a sweet boy who is going to be a great dog." My minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. I have been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and am on flea and heartworm preventatives.
