Still, Barkley is a dream to walk since he is always checking to make sure you're following him or near him. He does not want to be too far apart from his human. Barkley does have hound tendencies with his nose often to the ground and an ear for squirrels. He loves a little bit of fetch with a ball or a stuffed toy. Barkley is still learning basic manners. He knows to "sit" on command, but "four on the floor," is a challenge for him. With his 38 lbs weight and solid build, he needs a family without small children. Barkley has some separation anxiety and would prefer a family who will not need to crate him too often and will not leave him home alone too long. Barkley is a sweet boy who aims to please. He's looking forward to a family he can dedicate himself to loving and pleasing.
