My Story

This handsome lowrider is Bart! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 9/25, and no one has come to reclaim him. Bart is now hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Bart as friendly and inquisitive. He loves to sniff around and explore. Bart is extremely food motivated and he'll work for them! He does get super excited when they're offered to him and he needs some work on taking them gently. He does seem to have a bit of a head tilt, so it may be something to have looked at by your veterinarian. Bart is approximately 4 years old, and he weighs 47 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Bart in run 60; his ID # is 662186. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
