***EXPERIENCED ADOPTERS ONLY*** Hold onto your hats cause I'm coming in hot! My name is Bautista and like my namesake I too am a professional wrestler. Well.....at least that's what I like to think. I just hit my one year mark at PAHS as I have spent the last twelve months trying to unlearn all of the bad habits I picked up in my previous home. To no fault of my own, any "training" I received was actually counterproductive to my goal of becoming a good doggie citizen. I have made wonderful progress in learning boundaries with my human friends, namely how to enjoy a good play session without getting overstimulated. My friends here say that I am a snorty little piggie who loves to jump around and play with his toys. I'm a huge foodie and have admittedly munched on too many snacks which is why I am currently on a restricted diet. Despite being a big blocky bully boy ( say that five times fast :p ), I am the biggest baby and am afraid of just about everything - the Christmas tree, the dog statue out front, and even the snowflakes falling on my head. The shelter staff has noticed a significant difference in my personality and comfortability around men compared to women. For that reason, I am specifically searching for a mom. While I am not a suitable candidate for a home with cats or small children, I enjoy playing with other dogs in the medium to large size range. No teacup or toy breeds though please! There is something about those little guys and gals that really ruffles my feathers. I am such a sweet and silly boy who has been diligently working toward being the best boy I can be.
