BEANIE

Bubbly, snuggly Beanie is one of my very favorite AWD dogs! Beanie is so popular with volunteers that he has usually already been taken out when I am hoping to walk him. So, on Labor Day, I decided to bring him home so I could have him to myself. He was the perfect guest in our house, making friends with my dogs -- even prompting some play with my younger dog. The person who found Beanie as a stray reported he was also good with her cats. Beanie, five years young, loves to snuggle, but he's a good walker too. He has gained weight with the sedentary shelter life and he needs some exercise to get back in shape. Beanie also does well with kids as he was at the railyards recently and met quite a few.
