Bear - a forgotten senior

Meet Bear! Bear is an adorable 40 lb. mixed breed boy whose owners had a change of schedule, which is how he ended up at another local shelter about 3 months ago ? He had no interest with the other shelter, so we decided to pull him just for a change of scenery and to see if a new audience might help. Bear lived as an only dog for his whole life, and while he loves every single human he meets (including children!) he would prefer to retire as your only baby ? He can be crated during the day while you're away, and he's also conditioned to an outdoor kennel situation from his previous home. He's got a nice energy level for someone who is OK with a walking buddy every day, but doesn't necessarily want a dog who's bouncing off the walls with energy. He's super smart and will be so happy to just be by your side. He may be grey in the face, but he's got the heart and soul of a puppy who just wants to be loved! If you're someone who doesn't mind having one pet at a time, Bear would love to meet you!
