My Story

Beau is a high-energy, affectionate, 5ish year old hound mix with a heart of gold! He loves people and enjoys being in the middle of the action, whether it's greeting visitors, snuggling on the couch, or going for car rides. He’s an adventurous pup who would thrive in an active home—he loves hiking, swimming, playing fetch, and exploring. While he does well with other dogs, he needs to be fed separately due to past food insecurity. He would do best in a home with older children and a fenced-in yard where he can safely run and play. Beau will alert you to strangers with his signature hound bay and can be anxious when left alone. He respects cats but is fearful of them, and he is not suited for a home with small dogs. Beau was rescued in 2021 from Mississippi and was adopted into a loving home. Unfortunately, he is being returned due to no fault of his own. Beau is a loving and loyal companion looking for his loving forever home! PLEASE NOTE - We will check your veterinary reference, to ensure that current and prior dogs have a history of being kept up to date on rabies and distemper, Current pets must by spayed/neutered.
