Beau Onslow

Beau is a young and handsome 38-lb boy who is quickly coming out of his shell in his foster home. He loves the company of other dogs and adjusts his behavior according to who he is with...he is playful and active with his foster puppy brother, but is also respectful of the senior beagles in the home. While Beau is shy upon meeting new humans, he absolutely adores being with people and wants to be included in everything. Beau's foster mom has observed that he will come when called and, while he loves hiking and exploring the yard with his beagle friends, he's equally content to lounge in the house. Beau has gorgeous, dreamy eyes and is a bit of an "old soul." He is also a wonderful traveling companion and does great in the car. Beau does bark when he's playing (and he's got a beautiful, deep bark), but otherwise is on the quieter end of the beagle spectrum! Beau will thrive in a home with another friendly, confident dog (or dogs). While he is building his confidence rapidly, his new owner should continue to gradually introduce him to new things. With patience and love, Beau is going to blossom into the perfect companion.
