Belle

Meet Belle, a goofy, energetic, and loving 2.5-year-old Belgian Malinois! This sweet girl has spent the past year and a half living with another German Shepherd and three kids, and she absolutely adores snuggles-she'd be a lap dog if she could! Belle loves learning and showing off her impressive skills like sit, wait, off, leave it, drop it, and heel, especially after working with a trainer on and off for the last year. Belle is always up for an adventure-whether it's car rides, new experiences, or a game of "catch me if you can" if her leash slips! She's leash-trained and crate-trained, but when you're home, she prefers to be right by your side. While she's never shown aggression toward dogs or people, Belle does have a high ball drive and tends to get a little mouthy during playtime, leading to a couple of accidental bites. She'll need an owner who understands the nature of a Belgian Malinois and is committed to helping her manage her excitement. Belle isn't a fan of lawn mowers or leaf blowers (she once bit her owner while trying to protect her from the evil blower!). Belle is an eligible Veteran's Program dog.
