My Story

Benji von Bergen is a stunning 2 year old long haired German Shepherd. Benji is a very friendly boy who loves people and soaks up attention. He is upbeat and enthusiastic and ready for adventure. A brilliant lad, he is waiting for an experienced owner who can handle his size and who will continue to guide him - with love and continued training. Being the quick study he is, this treat-oriented boy’s leash manners have been improving by leaps and bounds (his “Bachelor or Arts” degree already features coursework in “Sit” and “Paw," from which he has graduated “Cum Laude”). He has recently advanced to the playgroup experience, where he shows that he is actually calmer off leash. He mingles in the group and it looks like he might eventually begin to play (but cats are not on his list of potential play partners). Come meet Benji and see if you’re fortunate enough to be chosen by him as his dream home. Rescued from the Riverside County animal shelter. Weight 83 lbs Benji is located at the Westside rescue facility in Los Angeles, CA, but can be adopted and transported anywhere is the US and Canada. Transport costs vary based on destination. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fees are finalized prior to transport. If you are interested in adopting use the links below.
