Meet Benny! We estimate that Benny was born in 2020 and may have previously been used for breeding. In the time that Benny's been in WAG's care, he has been neutered, had surgery to help him breathe better, and a procedure to fix the double cherry eye condition he had. (Once he's healed up more, we'll get updated photos of his more handsome face.) Benny is a great balance of calm and companionship. While crate-trained, he can be trusted loose in the house. While he can be talkative if he is looking for attention, he's not really a barker and makes a variety of other vocalizations. Most of the time, he's fairly quiet. Benny is stubborn and a bit pushy, so a fenced yard is required to keep him safe. He would do better with older children if any in the home. He does do well with dogs, so a similarly sized canine companion may be a bonus to have in his future home.
