BENTLEY

12/23/24 This handsome guy is Bentley, and he was brought to the shelter with his buddy Lily because he was too big for the previous owner who is ill. With his big size brings great strength, so he needs someone that will take time to teach him leash manners. Making sure Bentley has plenty of physical and mental enrichment that can help with this behavior. Bentley was described as a lover to everyone but can be a little shy. Bentley was said to be kennel trained and housebroken and will go to the door to indicate he has to go. He is said to know some basic commands and was said to generally mind well. Bentley was described as being cowardly in new situations, so he is hoping his new home will have the patience to let him warm up to them. Bentley does have a couple lumps that are believed to be cystic at this time, but they should be monitored for changes. He was also seen by our shelter veterinarian for an upset tummy, and he has been doing much better since starting on food meant for sensitive stomachs.
