My Story

Greetings, potential adopter! I'm Beth, a 2 year old, female, Australian Cattle Dog weighing in at 44 pounds, and I'm here to add a dash of energy and loyalty to your life. I'm house trained and still a work in progress with crate training, I am a master on the leash, though I may pull a bit in my excitement. However, my social skills are top notch! I'm great with kids and fellow dogs, though the mystery of cats is yet to be unraveled in my world. A house with a 4-foot chain link fence is my ideal playground. No apartments for this adventurous spirit! I've got some unique talents up my paw; I know sit, leave it, and I'm a pro at using the doggy door. Oh, and did I mention I enjoy a morning shower? Join me if you can, it's one of my favorite routines! For the truckers out there, I'm your perfect road companion. Car rides and trips to home goods? Count me in! Going into my crate may not be my favorite, but toss a tasty treat, and I'm there. Trustworthy when left alone, I'll patiently wait by the window for your return, ready to share tales of our adventures. Let's make every journey, whether on the road or at home, an unforgettable one together! My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! **Petfinder inquiries are NOT official applications! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out* Don't forget to LIKE us on Facebook!-www.facebook.com/rescueonespringfield *Remember, dogs are pack animals. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home. We are a foster-based organization, and we need more fosters to help us save more animals!
