Betsy

Betsy is a female. 3 years old. 30 lbs. she is happy, loving, fun and friendly! She was found as a stray in Mississippi and seemed to have been cared for, but no one ever claimed her. She came to Michigan to a foster home in hopes to find a forever home! She is almost 100% housetrained. Also crate trained. Betsy is an enthusiastic and happy little dog. Breeds unknown but she reminds us of a corgi. She’s smart and active like a herding breed but she’s little and long…and companion oriented, always looking for direction. Helps herself to a comfortable spot on the couch. And she loves toys! She enjoys playing fetch and tug of war and is gentle enough to play with kids. Betsy would be a great companion for kids who want to run around outside or go for walks. Betsy walks on a leash but could use more training on heel etc. She also loves playing with other dogs or puppies, but settles down and coexists just fine too. She’s quite dog savvy in her communication. Betsy does well on car rides. Loves to meet new people. Basically she’s highly adoptable and a real prize to someone looking for a young, small, active, athletic, fun, and friendly dog. Betsy is ready for her forever home!
