Meet Bettie! Beautiful Bettie is ready to brighten up your home with her sparkling personality, captivating eyes, and contagious smile! This goofy gal is a 62lb, 2.5 yrs old, Labrador/Pittie mix with medium energy that loves to go for long walks, sniff around the neighborhood and play with her doggie pal at her foster home. While she has a young dog's spirt and curiosity, she's perfectly content spending her down time lounging around on her sun bed, chilling in the house. She walks great on leash, is house trained, and crate trained. Bettie has shown an eagerness to follow the leader and has gotten some great basic training within her current foster home—she sits on command, allows her human to go first out the door, only gets on the couch if invited and sits for her food until released. We'd love for Bettie to find an enthusiastic adopter and dog lover who will provide her with a happy home, rules and structure, and outdoor adventures on leash! Bettie gets along great with her foster dog housemate , Luna. They love to play and lounge together and Bettie would do well in a home with another large dog that is balanced and eager to play.
