Foster Reason: Happy Tail Foster Time Frame: 1 - 2 Weeks (The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.) Foster Care Plan: Betty is being treated for Happy Tail, a condition that occurs when a dog's tail is injured from wagging their tail against a hard surface. Her tail is improving and will be bandaged while in her foster home. She will also go home with medication to help her feel more calm and relaxed. Foster to Adopt: Betty is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
