Beverly was surrendered to a rural shelter we help because her owner could no longer care for her. The shelter was at capacity so she was going to be euthanized. We met her on what would have been her last day, and she was an absolute sweetheart. A foster agreed to bring her into her home, so her life was saved. Now, Beverly is ready to find a family who will always love her.
Beverly is a sweet girl and she would be a great companion for someone looking for a calm dog. She has done great with the other dogs in her foster home. She is also potty trained, crate trained and leash trained. She has learned the routine at her foster home quickly, and will adjust to an adoptive home too.
Beverly is healthy, but she does have to be on a medication called Proin due to urinary incontinence. This condition was likely caused by having multiple litters of puppies.
We think Beverly is a Heeler mix. She weighs 38 pounds, and she is 5 years old.
She has been spayed, vaccinated for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention. She is also heartworm negative.
Beverly can arrive in Washington on 2/15. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt
