Biquette

Most likely born in early September, Biquette came to PPR from a property that let lots of dogs and puppies roam freely - not the safest place for her. Unfortunately during that time, she suffered an eye injury and upon examination by the vet, it was clear the eye couldn't be saved. She had her eye removed in mid-October and she is adjusting incredibly well! We know that her mamma was a Belgian Malinois and her dad was a black German Shepherd Dog, so she will likely be a large dog. Herding dogs like shepherds are wonderfully loyal, but they can be a bit aloof and protective, so socialization from the very beginning is imperative so that you will have a friendly, well adjusted dog when she is all grown up! She is incredibly smart and has a lot of energy, so an active family would be the best match. She would love to go hiking, swimming, and would be a wonderful agility dog.
