Birdie is not a bird or a birdie used in the sport of badminton. She is the fawn-colored, 1 year old, female Cane Corso Mix that has flown the coop and is enjoying a soft landing in a cushy foster home. Who could resist her cute little cropped tail and worry-wrinkled face? Birdie has no need to worry anymore now that she is in a foster home with BDHP and will no longer spend her time outdoors on a leash as has been the case until now. Birdie was found running around loose with a male dog in New Mexico and she had a chewed electric cord wrapped around her collar. Birdie was very thin and the good samaritan who found her took her in temporarily to help put some weight on her but she did not have a fenced yard or the time to train Birdie. During her brief time in her first temporary home Birdie let it be known that she enjoys car rides, loves stuffed animals, balls and any kind of treats. She also showed that dogs and kids are fun to be around. She doesn't jump up on kids and is very mellow. She chased the cats she lived with. Birdie will be working on skills that a wonderful family member who lives in the house knows all about including potty training, crate and leash training. Do you have a soft, cozy nest for Birdie to spend her life in? Put in your application to navigate Birdie's flight to your forever home and do it quick! This sweetie pie will be a favorite.
