Biscuit is a sweet 1-year-old boxer mix with the classic, loving boxer personality. This happy-go-lucky boy lives with his experienced foster family in Washington, who has helped him become a well-mannered companion. Biscuit loves everyone he meets—dogs, people, and even the family’s other pets! While he’s still a bit curious about the resident cat, he shows no aggression, just friendly interest. Biscuit is excellent with his manners: he doesn’t beg for human food or counter surf, and he happily entertains himself on his dog bed with his toys.
He’s crate trained, adores car rides, and enjoys playing outside with his foster pack. Biscuit’s foster family also has chickens, goats, horses, and will soon add a donkey, and Biscuit takes it all in stride. This easygoing boy would make a fantastic companion for anyone looking for a loving, laid-back dog with a big heart!
Biscuit’s foster family is helping him overcome some crate-training challenges from his past. Previously, he was crated for too long by his former adopters, which led to some accidents in his crate. Now, he’s learning with the support of his dedicated foster mom, who’s working patiently to teach him that his crate is a safe, comfortable space. Biscuit is a smart and eager-to-learn boy, and he just needs a loving, committed adopter who will continue to guide him with patience and understanding. With the right support, Biscuit will thrive and make a loyal, joyful addition to a family!
