Our next transport date will be Friday/Saturday, February 7th and 8th. Please see below for pick-up locations. We cannot do meet-and-greets with the puppies. The transport trip is hard and long, and it would be too long for a puppy to be in a vehicle if he had to return to Texas. We do not take deposits. All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up. Bocephus was picked up as a stray and wound up at our vets office hoping to be saved by someone. He was a favorite at the clinic and they called and asked us to please take him in and we were happy to do so. He is a happy guy, always happy to see you and wagging his tail. He weighs about 64lbs and is a lanky guy and could probably stand to gain another couple of pounds. He was quite thin when we first got him but he has steadily been gaining his weight back. He walks pretty nicely on a leash, is great in the car and will stay in the crate. He is very food motivated so should be easily trained. He loves all dogs, big, small old and young he will just jump right in and give them kisses ready to play. He is also nice to our cats and doesn’t chase. He does bark at our horses but I think he is just a little unsure about what they are. If you are looking for an affectionate easy going guy you won’t find a better match than our Bo. Sun Prairie, and Fon Du Lac, WI. *St Louis area adopters would meet us in Collinsville, IL (this pick-up will be Friday evening). Springfield, Bloomington, and Oglesby pick-ups are also Friday evening. **Green Bay and Sheboygan adopters will meet us in Fon Du Lac. ***Joliet and Davenport area adopters will meet us in Ogelsby or Roscoe, IL. ****MILWAUKEE _ We don’t have a Milwaukee stop this time but do have 2 stops in WI and will be stopping in Roscoe, IL. Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501c3; proceeds go back to spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in the Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana area and the care of puppies and dogs that we take in. If needed, we assist low-income families with emergency vet expenses for their current pets. All our dogs will be in foster care in Texas until they are adopted. We cannot guarantee breed. We do our best based on the pup's and the mother's appearance if she is known to us. We rarely know the father of the puppies, and litters of puppies can have more than one father.
