This is Bodhi's story:
I own a mobile home, better known as an RV, which I rent through Airbnb. We received a retired Navy veteran guest with his service dog, they had made a reservation for a week and everything was fine with them, until the "Rv park" office called me to give me the news that my guest had been speeding in his car and squealing his tires in the parking lot of the property, the manager there had to call the police and he was arrested. I immediately went to my RV to see if everything was okay, I noticed from afar that the door was open and when I got there, I found the image of the the second picture that I share with you here.
It was Bodhi, his faithful dog, laying there, on the couch, alone, waiting for his owner to return from wherever he went and understand why he had left him, I saw him, with a sad look, terrified and confused, abandoned. It made me so sad to see him with those sad precious eyes.
I approached slowly and carefully to pet him and give him a kiss on the forehead to tell him: "Hey, I am here, God has put you in my path and I will help you... come on, let's go home!"
And I took him.
On the way home he was TERRIFIED, shaking with fear and hiding his head. Days went by and I was waiting to hear from his owner, which didn't happen. I called the jail and they told me that the young man has drug charges and has some mental battles that he needs to heal.
Bodhi has been with me since then and I have already spent 1 month with him, to realize that he had traumas, insecurities and fears that we have been healing little by little, with love and patience.
I'm honest with you, I didn't want to give him back, my purpose in this life is to protect and safeguard animals and make sure they are well and have a good life, that they live well and happily, but something inside me told me that he wasn't happy and that it hurt him to be next to his owner.
Time went by and I patiently waited for a miracle, because Bodhi being his service dog is a different process to take him away anf mote if owner is a veteran, you know how that is.
And one day, I got a call, it was a nice lady who told me she was his mother of the veteran owner of Bodhi, she let me know that she didn't want Bodhi to go back to her son because he was not mentally stable at the moment and that Bodhi was also under her name. I smiled. I'm sorry, I couldn't help but feel happy after hearing that. She then realease the dog for me and told me to please find the best home for him, because he deserved it, he had been through so much.
After I hang out with her, I ran to Bodhi and grabbed his face and said: "Bodhi you are free!!!" And I promise you that I will find you the best home my love, I promise you! A stable, warm and loving home!
I can tell anything but good things about this handsome boy, BODHI is an EXCELLENT dog, affectionate, playful, active, very very smart (he found out, how to open the dogs gate and let all the other dogs go out and be free around my house haha) and he is very very loyal! He would be an excellent partener adventure , going for a run in the park, climbing in the mountains, camping, to the beach, or any outdoor activity. Apart from the fact that he is already registered as a service dog. ?

I will only say one thing: GOD is never wrong and when he puts someone in your path, no matter how ugly the situation looks, it is always for a reason, no one crosses paths with another person just because.
