Meet Bodhi! Do you love the look of heelers but also like a dog who knows how to chill? While those two things don't usually go hand in hand... with Bodhi, they do! He is what we like to call a unicorn heeler. Almost to good to be true. Bodhi was saved from euthanasia at a small rural Texas shelter. His foster Dad saw a picture of him and knew he couldn't let him die. And thankfully he did because Bodhi is an incredibly sweet young guy who deserves a chance at the good life. We estimate that he is about 2 years old and weighs 40lbs. He is extremely dog friendly and can play with his foster fur siblings all day long. He is a little shy of new people at first but warms up quickly. In typical heeler fashion he can be a little mouthy so even though he absolutely adores kids its probably best he doesn't live with teeny tiny ones. He walks well on leash, is house trained, and rides well in the car. One of the best things about Bodhi is he smiles when petted or scratched and gives you kisses! It is absolutely adorable.
