Boink

Boink is a 90-pound cuddle machine disguised as a 5-year-old mastiff mix. This lovable goofball wants to meet everyone—adults, kids, neighbors, strangers—if you’re breathing, you’re a friend! Boink has no concept of personal space and is convinced he’s the perfect lap dog. He’ll happily plop himself in your lap or roll around on the floor, inviting you to join his love fest. Boink is a foodie extraordinaire who never met a snack he didn’t like (except maybe kale). He’s a pro at “sit” and “paw” and loves showing off his skills—especially if treats are involved! Walks are great, but snow? No thanks! He’d rather be snuggled up inside. He also rides well in the car, making him the perfect adventure buddy. Boink’s past wasn’t kind to him—he faced neglect and mistreatment—but he hasn’t let that dim his spirit. He is hard of hearing and is also now on a special diet and takes medication to keep his skin healthy. He’s ready to find a patient, loving family who will give him all the care and kindness he deserves. Boink has lived with other dogs before and could potentially share his home with a compatible canine companion.
