Bonjour aka Bonnie is a beautiful brindle babe who was found on the streets of Chicago and brought into to Chicago Animal Care and Control as a stray. Bonnie was clearly someone's pet, because she was so lovely and sweet and social right off the bat. She truly has a perfect demeanor so much so that her foster family says she is "an angel." We had an amazing foster family open their home to Bonnie. Bonnie has been spending the last few weeks getting over her kennel cough, getting spayed, and generally decompressing in a wonderful home with another dog who Bonnie adores. Thanks to her foster family, we know quite a bit more about her than we otherwise would. Bonnie is mostly housebroken, loves other dogs and all people, and is the perfect balance of playful and cal,. She walks great on a leash and is non-reactive to people, dogs, sounds, etc. Her foster mom writes, "Bonnie is a total cuddle bug who adores snuggling and has the most irresistible big brown eyes-true puppy-dog eyes that will melt your heart. She has a wonderfully calm demeanor. She's content to lounge quietly but lights up with excitement when it's time for pets, play, or a walk. And when she's happy, her tail wags so hard her whole body wiggles with joy! Bonnie is playful and friendly with other dogs too.
